Airbag ECU Malfunction1 (B1160-B1167)
DESCRIPTION
The airbag ECU
assembly consists of the acceleration sensor, safing sensor, drive
circuit, diagnosis circuit, ignition control, etc.
If
the airbag ECU assembly receives signals from the acceleration sensor
and pressure sensor, it determines whether the airbags and pretensioners
should be deployed.
These DTCs are stored when a malfunction is detected in the airbag ECU assembly.
